So, I think I’ve decided I want to get one of the new F3’s when they become available. I’m leaning towards the large, since I just like big knives.

Does anyone have an F3 of any size and want to give a brief review? I’ve never handled one, and they are pricey, so I want to know if there is some issue I’m not aware of.

I have an unboxing on the new F3 slim medium on my youtube. FYI - Mine went back to Dave for service. I've heard a few reports of this.

I have both a F3 Medium, and a Compact. Both are tremendous knives and have a very high level fit and finish. I would like to get my hands on a Large at some point as well. Both of mine are flawless, so I can't really speak to any issues.

What’s your channel? I’d like to go check out your video.

Appreciate it, and I figured as much. Just want to make sure there isn’t something like an ergo issue or a not obvious quality concern.

Well, there KIND of is, the ergos aren't worldbeating, I'll just say that. The Compact, you kind of have to hold it a certain way, whereas something like a Cold Steel, or Buck, or CRK, or whatever, you can grab it and hold onto it pretty much without thought. The Medium is a bit better in this regard. I am not carrying either knife today or I'd snap a quick pic to show you what I mean. I might do it when I get home. It's like anything else, if you like the overall design language, this will be a minor thing. I would expect that a Large won't have any issues whatsoever in this department, but the problem is that the Larges are super scarce right now, because Curtiss has been making mostly Mediums in his drop batches.

I'm hesitant to give a full opinion, as mine is back with Dave and I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, as I KNOW he has tremendous skill, works hard and is very customer-centric. I will say that the new slims he's releasing are NOT the same knife as his classic F3 models.
