For a while now, I've noticed that when it came time to choose a knife to carry before leaving the house, I'd always choose either my GPS JYD, Sebenza, or JYD II Ti/SG2. So, I made the decision to sell off just about everything other than those 3, and add a few more Ti framelocks to give those 3 some competition.

Well...here's what I got rid of: (not pictured: BM585 Mini-Barrage and Spyderco purple FFG Delica)

I kept the Chive and Persistence simply because they're so cheap, they aren't even worth selling and the Pacific Salt is my fishing knife.

Hopefully those new toys are enough to curb my knife buying for a while at least... :o
 
Actually, all you've really done is make a shift in the value of the knives you collect. From now on you're looking at $400+ knives instead of $100+ knives. :D Welcome to the club! ;)

I did something similar, but still have quite a few knives left.
Nice way to thin the heard and find what you truly enjoy carrying.
 
I actually just got the Bradley today. That's going to be my small beater with the JYD II being the large beater.
 
I'm also slowly weeding out knives at the rate of about 2-4 at a time, every few weeks. Most I've just never got around to using. For me, the Gayle Bradley, SnG, Militarys, and the odd Cold Steel folder. I'm inclined to get a Darell Ralph soon, and maybe another semi custom.
It's just time to move onto the Big Boys Toys~!
