I just saw the CRKT C/K CR2010 Dragon fixed blade knife! I love the modified long Wharncliffe blade! It's like my first Mirage folder (I still cry over losing it recently).

Does anyone have any comments, good or bad about this knife? :jerkit:

I handled one recently, and really liked it. This is going to be the next fixed blade I purchase. I think CRKT really stepped up this year with some of the new offerings they have...the Dragon being one of them.

Why the jerk it smilie?

Hey Guys...

I've got one...
Great knife..

Don't much care for the Pokey on the butt of the knife though..
That's Gotta go, it jabs me a bit...

Sheath is a little bulky, but I've got a fix for that already...

Hey Yooper...

I run it through my Sharp maker.. Seems to be fine...

It's not a practical knife. It has a specific purpose in life...

Esav..

Sorry,, didn't see this til now...

I wouldn't call it durable..
It's too thin to be really durable..Tip is meant to pierce and that will do..:)

I did...several hundred times. It still won't cut paper. Does yours do the paper-test effectively?

As for the specific purpose? Well, I cannot legally carry a sheath knife if I leave my property.

It looks nice though. And will make a great holiday present, if you know what I mean?

its very similar to the crawford bulit bob kasper designed version and i like it myself, fits my hand well as all stuff by bob does, it is in fact designed to be a "killing knife" FWIW.

Well, after pulling my new Kasper Dragon thru the sharpmaker about 500 times I finally got the blade reasonably sharp.

Why they don't sharpen them at that Chinese factory I'll never know. Maybe the overlord Mandarin bosses don't want the coolies to have access to sharp blades??? They might feel more prone to rebellion then. That must be in The Little Red Book...no sharp blades for the proletariat.

i've had really good results sharpening 9cr18 on the bottom of a ceramic cup.it will shave an arm. its teh only way i was able to put a decent edge on it. mine is boker plus jermer edc
