Since joining this forum I have spent more money on knives than I ever have. I've also gotten rid of a lot of good folders to get something "better". The 710 was a victim of that. I've actually had two and sold them to try different things. My pocket misses having a 710 so I just bought a new one. And I will probably buy the 710 in m390 from knifeworks when it comes out as well. :)

I've noticed you have had a fair number of new knives, and it seemed like a day or two later they were for sale.
Nothing wrong with that, but to really know if you like a knife or not, you really should give it a decent amount of carry and use.

A good example was my first Mini Grip. I had been carrying an early 705 for a few years, and ended up with a Mini Grip not long after they came out. The first time I really held the MG, I seriously thought about taking it back. Like many, my first impression was it felt cheap, but I decided to give it an honest shot...

Here we are maybe 15 years later, and I am still carrying a MG, and currently have 4 including an M4 version, and will probably be buying a couple more just because :D

The 710 is a knife many love. I decided to check one out probably 6-7 years ago. When I held it, I wasn't impressed, it seemed too long and slender, so I never got one. In all honesty, I need to take my own advice and actually get one and use it. I have no doubt my impression of the 710 would probably change, but after giving an honest chance, maybe it wouldn't, but at least I would know for sure.

710's and Ritters (full size & mini's)make up most of my EDC rotation.
Both are all stars in the BM line up, IMHO.

Man, you're a creeper! :D

Yes, I do sell knives fairly quickly. Sometimes it's because I've found something I think I will like more and other times its because I know instantly I do not care for how a knife carries or feels in hand. While i think things can grow on you; I also know pretty quickly what I like/don't like. :)

I let go of a mini-grip to get the new 903 Stryker. I regret that as I think the MG is a better feeling knife in hand. I did not care for the 903 at all. Wouldn't have known that without getting rid of the grip as I have no need for both of them.

Oh, you have just started swimming in the ocean. Not to encourage your "habit" but try different type of BKC knives. I'll bet you won't be able to stop. ;) (I'm not helping you, am I? :) )

I have personally enforced my criteria of purchase for folder to include "must be able to open / close one handedly and ambidextrously", and "currently in production", I have strong affinity to Benchmade and AXIS lock. Sure, I buy few more knives, but those are usually exotic steels. I am not into buying "collectable" or limited edition.

I am fortunate I don't do addictive collecting on expensive knives, but love to explore more different styles of knives. In addition to Osborn series (810, 950, 94X)

Some of my "curiosity" has extended to

* Barrage series: For Assisted AXIS
* Griptilian Series: For carry anywhere and very customizable.
* Adamas 275: Ultra heavy construction and ability to dish out cutting.
* Onslaught: Super slicer of over 4" blade. (Unfortunately, larger one has stopped production 2012)

I do love buying, selling, and trading knives. I have determined though that a 710 is a knife I want to keep. It's design is near perfect.

Yeah, for me the 710 is kind of Benchmade's Buck 110, if I may draw that comparison. Or maybe it will be in another 35 years.

Sorry man... I'm not a stalker :D I do frequent this s/f quite a bit, and cruise the exchange constantly, so after awhile I notice things.

The great thing about this hobby is, there is no right or wrong way to do it. Buy what you want, and if you don't like it, sell it. I was just giving you a bad time
