I'm getting pretty confident in my balisong builds and the next logical step seems to be some sort of lockback folder design. I'm way to drunk/tired to start sketching anything out right now but tomorrow morning will bring coffee and clarity. This post doubles as a note to self to remind me what I set out to do when I check my email in the morning.

I agree a waved lockback would be excellent choice.
Good lock choice, much more so than linerlock. I suppose Demkos lock (licensed) is out of the question even if one is making "just" a custom?

Good luck. Come up with something original.

Yeah, a lockback is probably easier to make than some of the others. The book "How to Make Folding Knives", has a section by Ron Lake (or is it Wayne Clay?) on how to make a style of lockback. Might help you.

I want the first one! Name your price!

I can't wait to see it. As soon as I get a bit less poor, I may have more projects for you if youre willing!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. A waved 21st century version of the 110 would be pretty sweet.

I think so too. I want to make a knife that any 1%er would feel well equipped with.
