I prefer SR101 personally. But A "Max Solution" does sound cool.
 
I have nothing against SR-101, but a Swamp fishing knife (come on! it's called Swamp!!!), or a diving knife would be Da Bomb!
HC is too thick and has too short blade for fishing, and a thin diving knife would be nice. Let's be honest, Swamp has the best designs in the Kin family, so why not tap the new markets first?
 
I agree the Swamp does do the best designs of all the Busse groups. The knife I think they need to do is a nice fillet knife, because as it is right now if you want a decent fillet knife you have to go custom. However I think it would be hard to make a knife that thin and have it be successful with there target customers. I could easily see people complaining there fillet knife isn't 1/4 inch thick, I mean people are wanting a 1/4 inch thick RMD and that's a 5 inch blade knife.

Elof-- i agree bud, it would be nice to have a swamp rat dedicated fishing knife!!

Patrick-- I like thick knives, I dont use a fillet knife much though personally. But i think if they advertise and list it as a fillet knife and let it be known its not made as a bushcraft blade it would be fine. Sell it to the right market!!!

I want them to make a big blade already to compete with the MOABs, BMs, 1111s, and 1311s.... (Chop-Mastiff)..... something around .32" thick and 11-13" blade would be a dream come true for me.
 
A bird & trout knife by Swamp Rat would be nice. It would go well with the fillet and dive knife concepts too. Elmax is a great steel and while I have seen it in fillet knives...I have not encountered it in a bird & trout or dive knife version. If they marketed it correctly, I think it would sell. And, I would like to see something more stout then the M9. Although, I like that one too.
 
Guys we finally get INFI RMDs and you still want more?!!?? I kid...we always want for more. If it's this way, we ask why not that way? And so on...

In my opinion, the Swamp gets a lot right in many of their knives.

I'm really w/ WW on the MOAR! And I see elof (C)'s point on stainless dive-friendly knife from the Swamp.

As time passes, we get some of our wants answered and that's a trend I hope continues and increases.

Good call Elof I was just thinking the same thing. I was staring at my CS satin rodent trail wishing it was el maxx.

Straight spine rodent trail in hard-run elmax.....call it the Trail Max :) I realize it wouldn't be a trailing point any more, but it would be an excellent bird and trout. :thumbup:
