It's how I've always understood it to be. I've gotten parts for both domestic or imported Kershaws for many years now without distinction between PoO.

Sometimes for older, discontinued knives, they're not able to accommodate.

Seems like I remember something from a few years ago where people were having trouble getting torsion bars for the Cryo and some of the other Chinese models. I don't recall any details, though.

If so they quietly changed it for the better. Good on them.

But in effect it has not changed at all. Several years ago I received new pocket clip screws for a Chinese Thermite in the same time frame and manner I got other parts for my USA made ZTs.
