I guess i should begin with the sexual history of my Nightvision prior to getting those nasty little red bumps on its G-10 handle.I bought the nightvision 3 months ago and i absolutly love the blade. It keeps its edge pretty well. However a few things have been bugging me .... Two days into owning my vision i noticed that the clip had a wriggle in it, then two weeks later the left( or was it the right?) screw completely fell out. I ended up taking the clip off all together since it was annoying the hell out of me because without the three screws the clip was moving around like crazy. I guess i could have sent it back but i figure it was only a minor little thing that i could live with.
Then the problem with the lock started to come up... About a two months i started noticing that there was noticable longitudinal and lateral movement in the blade. I wonder if this has anything to do with the new axis lock. I sincerely hope its not because in theory it is the superior design.
My only possible explaination for these flaws is that it is one of the limited production plain edged models, and therefore there was less attention to detail(doesnt make to much sense but i need to rationalize).
I guess ill just have to send this little baby in to the doctors at Sog so that it can get a checkup. Hey Obi-Ron any ideas on what is happening with my knife? Is it a fairly common problem with the Nightvision? I'M SOOOO DEPRESSED!!.....Lmao have anyone else had these problems?
