I recently found 2 awesome kershaws that I do not have. I was waiting till the last 5 minutes to snipe them and doesn't my wife distract me on the first one 2 nights ago by asking me to set up something and talking to me about work, I could have gotten a Ti talon for under $50, and she has to tell me about so and so doing something I don't care about at 11 pm to distract me :grumpy:.
So if that wasn't bad enough, I sit down after supper and tell her I found an awesome blacked out JYD that I would love to have and it was suupaa cheap. And what does she do but proceed to tell my kids to ask me about sleepovers and what I thought about them. All I asked for was 5 minutes, I swear she is doing it on purpose :mad: ! I guess I am too easily distracted because I didn't get the chance to snipe either one. I need a new plan of action! maybe I just need to lock myself in the bathroom! Sorry for the incessant ramblimg but I was really hoping I could have gotten either of those two and needed to vent a little!

Ever happen to you guys? It blows!
 
omg, i bid on both of those, ill send u pics of the titanium talon, because i won it! missed on the JYD by 2 dollars, last two seconds.... sorry brother
 
Thats alright, I was prepared to go up on both especially the talon, but distractions... eh. Atleast I know it went to somebody I know. I hope you enjoy it!
 
O i plan on enjoying it, it wasnt listed very well which is why it didnt go high, and i set my max pretty high too... but you not bidding gave me the opportunity to buy a new to me ZT0350ts yesterday! Maybe someday ill sell it to you for a reasonable price
 
Hahaha well I'm glad it worked to somebodys advantage! I guess I will start the therapy by buying a new blue skyline! Thanks for the offer, hopefully I'll find one sooner rather than later.
 
my max bid was at 95, if it matters to ya lol. i thought for sure i wouldnt get that knife
 
I probably would have let you have it for that! I was thinking $100 but probably would have set it at $95 too
 
do you know anything about that knife? like msrp or year range of production? I been looking but cant find much
 
I dont tell my wife until after I buy my knife. But I dont get on ebay too often either and usually I just put my max bid in and leave it at that. Blacked out JYD would be cool, havent seen many of them

I believe they were mid to later 90's, 97? Msrp I can't really say. I assume right around $70-90, maybe one of the mafia or Kershawguy could answer that. I am pretty sure there were not many made, under 1000? same with the Starkey models and the Ti wild turkeys
 
I use Gixen sometimes, certainly whenever I really want something. It's what scored me a damascus Skyline for much less than what I was willing to pay for it.

A bidding thread might be interesting. Although it could also spell trouble for either two folks who are really motivated, or someone who stumbles onto it, sees a knife they didn't know was there, and just snaps it up.
