grizzly from ka-bar collector club. i'm not sure if handle material is acrylic or celluloid.i/ve shown this one before but have a better camera now. if one gets tired of looking at this one ,he can always use it for skinning or filleting fish. dennis

i always liked scrimshaw style knives. i also like how they put the history of kabar in that, it supposedly started off with a bear . ka-beeeear!

Supposedly some old mountain man wrote a letter to them or maybe he was there in person,saying he Killed a Bear with the knife.Hence,where the name came from.Good looking knife.Some kind of polymer.Those scrawny little trappers and mountain men were some tough hombres.

I think that it is pretty too, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be the guy pictured on the knife scale with just the bowie against that Grizzly... Looks to me like the Grizzly is going to be eating well in the next couple o' minutes....
