1st FBM with the River8 pommel mod that is! Since getting a NMFBM I have been eyeing my old beater FBM for some possible modding. Well this morning I decided to go for it. Took a little bit of doing as I had to fab up a punch to properly flare the tubes to the correct angles but I am pretty happy with the result. The blade is still plenty ugly as I had sandblasted it before and today I simply hit it on a scotchbrite belt to smooth out the look. Gonna give it a nice beating over the Summer Busses are cool but modded Busses are cooler!

Dang Bill... that is just plain cool! I've always been fond of the 'ugly' look myself, and I have found that I enjoy my modded Busses even more than the factory ones. Maybe it has something to do with the personal investment involved with the mods. I dunno... very cool though, thanks for sharing!
