In ten years of making 52100 knives and leather sheaths for them I've come to know leathercraft a bit, I've picked it up and put it down when other pursuits got in the way, but always came back to it. I then got on the kydex bandwagon and for a hard use ground pounding traditional bowhunter like myself, I didn't want to get my leather sheaths wet or scratched up in the Texas brush and deep woods. So kydex it was.
Then I got my first Armorall with a Chopweiler. Then I got my second with a Rat Mastiff, then my third with a swedged Ergo Steel Heart mil-overrun, and a fourth specially ordered for my NMSFNOLE. Saddle tan is gorgeous, the sheath construction bulletproof, materials superior, and design impeccable. I'd take my Armoralls ANYWHERE.
I'm back to leather. Thanks Dwayne.
