...but once and addict always an addict. A long while back I got obsessed with INFI but I had no money at the time so I was just ordered a CG BATAC. It was my first hit of an expensive knife.

My brother helped me pay for the knife and it was very special to me but for some reason or other felt it was too nice to use. In anycase it stayed up in my room and was fondled here and there. It felt nice but a little heavy for what I am used to.

Well the other day I was looking at the BATAC and my bro was over and saw it. He noticed it and asked why I hadnt used it yet. I told him why, and he thought that was a waste of such a cool knife. I agreed. So, I thought to hell with it and took it out and used it and had an awesome time. Now I want more INFI and the addiction is back like I never left. Thanks Jerry and team for such awesome fun and functional knives. Cool forum too!

I can't imagine owning a knife I didn't use, especially a Busse. If i had a 1 of a kind knife, i'd use it all the harder.
 
See, I don't even know how i'd use that, so I just wouldn't own it. I plan to have dozens eventually, but they'll all be use specific. I can't get into safe queens.

I think it boils down to, Busse knives are the hardest use knives around, if you're not using them, in my eyes it may as well just be a picture of one on the wall. That said, i've never been big into collecting. I've got two safes full of guns, but they all get shot. I'm not trying to knock collectors, it's just not for me, but it's certainly better than stamps.
 
No knife is a paperwieght for me. Like someone has said before, you only know a knife's true worth if you use it! Im glad to see you are puting that blade to good use! Doesnt it feel right? Keep it up!!!
 
As I post this, I sit by the campfire, having chopped and split all the wood using my ASH-1 and SAR4LE. Steak, Leinenkugel's Original, and a few Garcia y Vegas, followed by Kava Kava... Life is Gooood.

Ha! I'm out sitting by my fire too on my laptop with wood chopped and split with my ASH-1.
 
Cool post...You are in the right place to have your addiction enabled.
 
All my Busse's get used, some more than others. I passed on the Batac when they where first offered, but finally got one. It goes just about every where now that its fall the long shirts are in order.

I totally agree with you. I dont have any safe queens except a wwII knife from my grandfather. I was going to sell my busse but it was a gift so it felt wrong. I love using it and plan on more use today:)
