I just got my new 710 kydex sheath for my BK17. I must say, I am very impressed. Not just with the craftsmanship, which is excellent BTW, but the design is well thought out, very functional, and just plain ol' sexsay!!!!

The presentation is very well done also, when I opened the package, there was the sheath, which I would have been pissed if it hadn't been in there , 3 stickers, that, just plain kick ass, and a stack of cards. Now, those cards are gonna go to a few local folks around here, that I know want some good sheaths. Not just for knives, either.

Anyways, here we are.....

The fit, is freakin' awesome. Even with my liners, and innertube, it snaps right in place, and only comes out when you want it to. I tried to sling it out, while I was outside. I think I tore a rotator cuff. :grumpy:

My firesteel won't fit in, top down, mostly because I made it a little bigger (cuz most firesteel handles are too small and suck balls), a normal LMF, or GG firesteel will fit just fine. Mine fits in bottom up, though, and it secure by some shock cord.

He is in the process of making 2 for me right now!! A BK-2 pancake, and a BK-9 pancake, with the dangler. I spoke with him on the phone today and he is a top-notch guy!!! I can't wait to see what he cooks up for me.

What part of IL are you from. I was at a loss for words when I heard about concealed carry here. Anyway I have a 710 pancake sheath for my 17 and I love it.
