Bought my first CRK Umnamzaan and like a fool parted with it. Mainly due to a torn ACL tendon on my right thumb. Making leather sheaths took awhile to get used to again. Also made opening a thumbstud a real hassle, well as time as went buy I adapted and now can operate a thumbstud ok. So I purchased this CRK Inkosi with blue studs. What a knife!
I get the attraction.
Some pics. First one of the one that got away. Need to pick up another.

Welcome to the madness, friend. Sure you will find many like minded souls here.

Great pics and great knives, Mike. I have a WC small 21 and a small Inkosi. Insingo will be next. Great knives, great users. Nice score

Nice Inkosi! The blue thumb studs must have been a special order and Insingo's are the ultimate all-around grind. If you happen to venture back to an Umnumzaan, be sure to look at the Tanto grind because it makes that blade a real tuff-ass piece of kit.

Glad to hear you've healed up...(umnumzaan)...welcome back to the club...(umnumzaan)...Did you hear anything?...(umnumzaan)...I keep thinking I hear something...(umnumzaan)...(umnumzaan)...(umnumzaan)

Compared to the Umnumzaan, the Inkosi is easier to open. I'd go out on a limb and say, they're the smoothest CRK out of the box that is produced today. The design changes that were made has made it a desirable knife.
Congratulations on the Inkosi, there's no doubt it'll grow on you and you'll find that it will become a good friend to have around.:)

I almost pulled the trigger on the Tanto grind last night. Thanks for welcome.!

I like the blue thumb studs; I have silver on my Inkosi, but if I ever have to send it back to the mothership, I may request they swap them out with blue ones.

Got my Umnazaan from a BF member. Unfortunately lock up is at 100 percent. That wasn't disclosed. I'm seeing if the seller will make this right. Ball touches opposite scale.

The seller made it right. If the ceramic ball wasnt resting on the opposite scale i would be ok with it. I will be sending in for a new blade if that brings the 100 percent down to around 40 to 50 percent. New knife to me so I would like to start fresh. I wasn't sure about the Tanto but I sure like it in hand. Seller was great.
