First timer poster and long time lurker! After much debate on if I should get a plain Sebenza or one with inlays, I knew I wanted a working knife more then a decorative piece. So I decided to get micarta inlays for the extra grip and a little added style. My heart was set on a small sebenza. Then I emailed Annie over at New Graham knives. I was just curious on some manufacturing dates and it turned out she had a large micarta sebenza that was made on my Birthday! So a large micarta sebenza it is! Thanks Annie! I love how they include bandaids in the shipping box, haha

The knife is a thing of beauty. Definately hair popping sharp out of the box. I'm almost a little scared handling it... almost haha. I noticed that the new knives have allen wrench holes on both sides of the pins? Did this change in the last few months?

Look forward to adding a small and maybe a mnandi to the collection. Gonna be a bit though, wife gave me a strange look after I told her how much the knife was....

Congrats man. I can wait to get my large Sebenza. I will have to try out the mirth inlay one day.
Enjoy!!

Way to jump in LOmein, I really like that micarta inlay Sebenza. It's cool you got one made on your birthady too.

Congrats!

Thats a nice one for sure. I have a plain large and a plain small, and now a Umnoonzan (sp). One like that is in my future - I've always like the black micarta inlay.

I have found that the CRK Sebenza is the perfect knife. It's plain rugged utilitarian reliability defines it beauty.
Perfection is not reached when you cant add anything more, but when you cant take anything away.

Good luck with it my friend -

Very nice choice. I like how the hardware (thumb lug, spacer, and lanyard pin) are silver when the inlays are Black Canvas Micarta.

Thanks guys, I'm really loving the clack it makes when locking. I am getting a little concerned of the size though. A may have to get a small too, this thing is a little intimidating to the sheeple. A small for work and a large for the weekend!

One of the first things I noticed about my first Sebenza was the ''click'' t made when closing on the detent. I still am aware of it every time I close it no matter how busy I am in the moment.
I am with you on the size. I carry a small Sebenza at work daily...office, dress slacks, and go with the Large at home and on the weekends.

Enjoy your new sebenza! You definitely started out right! Just a fair warning, your thumb might be a bit sore in the next few days....:D

Enjoy your new present to yourself!

It will eventually happen! I to started with a Lg micarta seb...eventually sold it off and now own a small micarta. For me it suits my edc needs better.

Very nice looking knife there. I have never owned a CRK before and I am thinking about a plain small Sebenza.
