From folders and ordered knives!!

Every once in while, I need to play around. I couldn't get the idea of making this knife out of my head. Only one way to cure that ;)

Single Eged Grifter,3/16" D2, tapered tang, 4 1/2" blade, 9 1/2" overall. Stainless pins and lanyard holes.

My smaller Henchman model is loosely based on the Grifter which is normally a double edge. Ever since I made the first Henchman, I've had the URGE to make a single edge version of my Grifter. Something about the Henchman blade shape turned me on....... I thought it would be even better if it where bigger :) Now I can sleep!!

its nice to take a break once and awhile....
the results speak for themselves
another great looking blade Neil! congrats:D

Neil, I really like the designs you have been coming up with recently. This one has wonderfully functional looking lines. A little stouter than the one that I have been seeing lots of pictures of lately. I like the extra mass of this knife.

A man's gotta do what he gotta do!

What is it about your work that appeals so much to me? It's the incredible sublety of the curves and the crisp quality of the grinds and handles. I wish I had 1/4 the talent you have!!!

Thanks for the post. That's just beautiful.... Sigh.

Those Blackwood lines are so smooth and clean. How can you not love 'em. That is sweet.

YIKES! That one reaches out and grabs ya for sure. That handle looks oh so sweet with the double finger indexes. Can I just hold it? I promise I'll send it right back ;)

Thanks!

The Grifter handle is the most difficult for me to make but feels the best once it's done!!

Jamie, NGK,

I'm not sure of it's final destination yet. If I can work out the logistics, I would be glad to send it to you if you would like to check it out.

Neil, this is one of my favorite design of yours in a fixed blade.

Now I just need to convince you to make me one 5.5" in OAL ;) :D

Come on, you know you want to do it...:p

DADDY! I love it! The State of Texas loves you for making a single-edge...

I especially love the handle...:D

Neil,

I see you are still pushing the edge. I am proud to say I was a Blackwood fan from the start.

Thanks everyone!! I might just make a few more of these ;)

Damn you Neil! Why is it I always fall for your knives? Could it be the incomparable lines..... You have got one heck of an eye that is for sure! :D
