My cat is only 6 months old, but he knows blades. I believe cats are inherently "knife people" since birth as they EDC 5 hawkbill OTFs on each appendage. This my first cat that is all mine. His name is Felony. Since I live by myself, I spend a lot of time with him. I was masaging his little hands when brilliance struck. Maybe I should get my own set of claws?

I saw this 6 months ago at a police uniform supply store and mentally filed that away. At the time I had a mental block against knives that had any degree of positive curvature since they are nearly impossible to sharpen on a traditional ench stone. Over time, one's opinions change though. I was walking past that store a few days ago and wondered if they still had any in stock. I ended up buying 2 of them since they are truely ambidextrious.
For a Tiawan knife, I found the fit n finish as good as any American made production folder. I bought the Master model after handling both that and the Journeyman. What caught me was the full steel ring and backspacer and the S30v blade steel. The lock is very secure with no blade play in vertical or horizontal, this goes for both knives. Another thing that surprised me was the included T6 driver that came with each knife.
As with most knives that I choose to carry, I saw wave potential in this one too. This is a very well thought out defensive knife. At 2.5" from tip to scale (if measured straight) it's legal in most jurisdictions. Some people have said they find the finger ring too large, but I believe this one was not meant as a pinky ring. In reverse grip, I think the ring would serve as a knuckle duster for the trigger finger. This tool could be very effectively used closed with punches or a hammerfist. I'm all for tools that can be used in both lethal and non-lethal applications.
So back to the wave thing... I cut away part of the opening hole to make a snag, but that wasn't entirely reliable. More steel had to be removed so that the hook was not "shrouded". As luck would have it, that morning Don Maxwell returned my call and it turns out he lives a few miles from me. He ground the hump off for me and now it waves great and effortlessly.
Now without further ado... pics!

I took this exactly from my left pocket as I would draw for "dirty" use.

I think these knives will fit great as my new EDC.

But most importantly, my cat approves.
Bear with me, this is my first review.
