I couldnt resist any longer. I ordered a catalog and it arrived Monday. That night I ordered a Model 1 with an 8" blade, Stag handle w/ brass butt plate, wrist thong, and my name etched on the blade :) . I also liked the #14 and saw them on the A.G. Russell web site. I ordered one yesterday from A.G. Russell for $395.00 with a 4 to 5 month wait. If I am correct, they are $310 direct from Randall with the 4 to 5 year wait. I think that in about 5 months I am going to be very happy that I spent the extra $85.;)
 
You're doomed now buddy...it starts with one, then ten, then...well, you get the picture ;)

Yeah I'm beginning to thin AG Russell was the way to go. Spending the extry 85 bones sure would lessen my wait anxiety.:grumpy:
 
Thats the way I saw it. I would rather pay an extra $85 and wait 5 months instead of 5 years for a non custom model.
 
Santino,I agree with you about waiting.5 years is a heck of along time,its to long.I did it it once/still waiting.Won't do it again.A.G and the dealers are the way to go.

I did a double jump...
I bought a Old Bushmaster with a stag handle and a compass in it (paid too much but I wanted it asap to use and carry when hunting)

I also placed an order through Randall.
I plan on joining the society, getting in on the club knives and ordering a Randall every 3 mths (as I think I heard that was the limit.

I am starting to get bitten by the knife bug!
