this is my first time posting here and i wanted to share some pictures of my first time trying out my sword on anything larger than my thumb in size.

friday evening i went out to the woods to fix some sweetcorn and try out my sword on a small thorn tree while i waited for the water to boil. i swung easy on the first try so i could see what it would do. the blade almost went all the way through. when i tried again but swinging harder, the sword went clean through the tree which was 2" across.

i tried it again on a larger tree and it went almost all the way through. the sword is hand forged high carbon steel and sharp as a razor. it makes short work of clearing brush and works really well on thorn bushes.

I was worried that pics of your thumb were included :p Sweet sword... but I'm pretty sure it was intended to be used on flesh ;)

dingy, the trees need to go since they have thorns. the big one will get cut down too but not by the sword. i'll probably use k II for that :D. i tried to find the sword at the website link you sent but couldnt. did they discontinue that one? i searched for Qing dao and it found nothing. dont post the link here but email it to me instead so i can save it in my gmail.
