I have to say the Buck 651 I picked up this morning is awesome.

But does not compare to the Buck 110 with D2 clippoint blade. They are absolutely fantastic. They had 250 of these made up and should be the knife I have seen a lot of people wanted to see. SK is also the person bringing us the Marksman custom we voted on.

plus the sheath. This is quite a buy and will be picking one up asap. I should of bought one this morning. It trumps my current collection. (Ties with my copper 110)

I want to support SK and help them keep ordering special products for us. Thumbs up.

Nice pics. I can vouch for the 110 with the flat grind D2 blade. It's really sweet. The 651 is on my list too. I have to have one just to have.

I need to get one. D2 flat grind is really nice.

Beautiful knife. I wish I could feel good about taking scales off a 110.

Std scales to practice on. My local woodcraft store has quite a few products that would be great to try to make new ones.

So, your Woodcraft store has some wood you want to put on a 110. Look for used 110's at swap meets and pawn stores. They will be abused but you can pick them up for under 20$ and work on replacing the handles. Then if the blade is broke or bent, send it into Buck. Get a new 420 blade installed in it and then you can keep it or sell it. Plus you got some practice on it. DM

I don't know where to get the lock pivot pin

Brass and nickel 1/8"rods are a standard item in our hardware stores. They come in 3' lengths. Then just cut & peen them. You can even find stainless rods in our stores. DM
