I am trying to go to Blade for the first time (wish they would move it to Vegas)

Anybody out there know of any airline that offers cheap tickets

to get there Thurs AM & leaving Sun PM?

Best I have found was 385.00 ea.

I was hoping for about 150.00 to 200.00 am I out of line it has been a long time since I have bought tickets.

I think if you booked in January you would have got a relative deal. The airlines know that people are back traveling now so they have jacked up their prices. Of course, the price of oil doesn't help.

I don't know where you're traveling from so I don't know if that's a good deal or not.
For me the price was about 460 I think.
Try em all...expedia, hotwire, travelocity, and call the airline direct. You might get lucky. But prices have gone up due to fuel increases.
Hope you can make it!

I forgot...when you do a net search try alternate airports. Sometimes traveling a short distance can chance air fares dramaticly.
Or maybe you can get close enough to drive the rest of the way with a pal.

Try www.southwest.com and go to special offers. They have some very good deals right now, although they don't fly into Atlanta so you may end up driving or doing multiple flights.

You may also want to try www.priceline.com you can't pick your times but you can get tickets significantly cheaper because you name the price. You don't have the flexibility that you do with other sources but they are cheap. Also using their service you sometimes end up flying much earlier or later than you wanted. I've used them several times and I've always had good luck.

David, you're getting pretty late on the fare schedule to get fares that low. My advice (and trust me on this) get some now and do not wait any longer. You may see a dip by $50 or $75 dollars between now and Blade but you will have to check 24/7 to catch it. Other than those it will continue to go up.

I checked having you fly from PHX to Birmingham (BHM) and the best price was about $185 each way. It's not that far of a drive from Birmingham on Interstate 20, but for that price, you can get a direct flight to ATL for just under $400.

It's a business trip, right? Right it off!

Sorry, the days or $150 - $200 tickets are long gone, especially with the price of gas now.

I will drive about 1.5 hours form Columbus to the Cobb Galleria. .

When I flew from Dallas two years ago it cost me close to $50.00 just for a ride from the Airport to my hotel across the street form the Galleria :grumpy:

Should be a good time this year.
