I understand that you have to call a certain number, which I possess, to become part of this club. I can already see an important benefit...getting first picks on new knives! What I want to know is, what are the benefits and costs of joining this club?

------------------
HERMES: "The Applegate Fairbarn is not bad...but for both offense and defense, the Randall 14 is good."
HERMES: (Admiring the Joe Kious Sub-hilt dagger) "I'll take the Joe Kious for a friend."
KNIFE-SELLER: "Excellent choice."

Flood, the benefits are that you are guaranteed one of every new knife that Spyderco makes in a numbered addition that is assigned to you. There is no cost to join, but you do have to sign a contract that you will buy at least one of every knife that comes out. If you miss a knife then you lose the contract. There are not that many numbers available. I would call Kelly right away and get started. There are some really great knives that are just around the corner that will be coming out. I hope this helps, Ron.....

I handle several of the spyderco collectors and I'm actually one myself. I think it was pretty well described. New products come when they come and you receive them automatically. Email me and I'll provide some particulars on how I work with the collectors. Take care.
