I wanna benchmade

I been looking at some threads and think i wanna get a new benchmade knife . I just have one question . What model folder have the largest blade ? Is it the 710 or 705 or another ?
 
As far as I know the BM 710 has the longest blade.

It's quite a nice knife, as well.
 
I personally like the 705 over the 710 but the 710 is definately a larger blade. What uses do you have for it? BTW, as an ex Magic player I have to commend you on your Avatar :D

No the 806D2 AFCK is the longest blade length BM Axis folder. Not by much though - 3.9" (710) compared with 3.96" (806D2).

I prefer the 710.

Oh and the 705 is about an inch shorter than the 710 - 2.95"

I have a kershaw vapor I use for a edc ,I'm kinda bored with it . Plus the lock failed on it a few times.I play with it opening and closing the blade , so maybe thats why the lock failed. I just wanna get a better knife to carry . I was thinking of the Bm 710/705 the cuda maxx or the emerson wave . Think i might go with the bm 710.
Would anyone recomend the extra money to get the high speed steel ?
 
Yes I would (might want to look in the Knife Exchange section), provided you aren't averse to the coating.

M2 is a noticeable 'other level' and very suited to that knife.
 
Agree with Switched, AFCK has slightly longer blade than 710. I also like AFCK blade shape with no recurve (much easier to sharpen) and its handle fits my hand better than 710’s one. In short – 710 is good knife but I prefer 806 Axis AFCK.

BTW, basically 705 is the compact version of 710.

The 710HS can hold a steeper angle than the regular 710 with less likelihood of chipping. Also, M2 will hold an edge longer than 154CM. I have both and higher edge retention was the only real difference I saw on 710HS with both it and the regular 710 sharpened to 30 combined degrees.

If you're a Magic player and want a real-life Scalpelexis, get the Becnhmade 921 Switchback. With its aluminum handle and blades in S30V and 440C, it's a foil card in earthly form. ;) If you're into land destruct Red, the 730 Ares is for you. :D :D :D

Jazzman, do you have any Black Lotus cards? What would you need for an exchange?
