Im looking for a new edc knife and I decided that I want a benchmade with axis lock, other than that I want a blade between 2.75 and 3.25 inches, I would prefer S30v but its not a deal breaker, and I dont want the handle to be too thick cause I want to carry IWB.

Thanks for all of your help

look at the Benchmade 480-1 Shoki with the m390 steel

Shoki doesn't have the axis lock. The Mini grip or 707 would fit the bill but don't have s30v. If s30v is a must, you're looking at a Ritter mini or 470 emissary.

wow... the picture that i saw, i'm sure there was one but after looking more closely, yup, no axis...

I don't have the emissary because I thought it was too small. But I sure do love the design. Fits all of your requirements anyway.
I would also second the 940. If you don't like the reverse tanto blade, look at the 941. Such a great knife

Custom Mini-Grip or Grip. You can choose the pocket clip, blade style, scale colors, whether the blade is coated or not, and have laser engravings done. They added new scale colors recently. They cost ~$35 more than the plain jane versions, but only~$20 same as some coated blade versions (this is due to the S30V).

What you really want is a 960... but they don't make that anymore. I feel like they've been missing a knife that fits that size criteria ever since.

i like the 470, but how durable is it?

What do you mean by durable? Its a high quality knife made from high quality materials. If treated like a knife and only used to cut things and not abused it will out last you. Its a gentleman's knife though, nit a hard use knife, so don't beat on it any you'll be fine.

With that said, I don't think you can really beat a Ritter mini with some custom scales...

I love the butterfly 523, my little boy was born on May 23, I love 523, he, firm, durable, is a good baby..

That being said, if you DID want a liner lock, the nitrous stryker is a wicked-awesome knife. I just picked up one today and I'm loving it.
I also really like D2 steel.
