I want a BK10 BAAAAAD! Part Deux! LITERALLY

After much waiting and searching the Knife gods have granted me favor and I am now in possession of not just one but TWO BK10s. Alas my white whale has been captured :D :D :D

Question is can anyone tell me why there's such variance in color of the sheaths? Granted one is used and the other new and never been used. At anyrate I'm just excited to take the BK2 and the BK10 for some fatwood hunting:thumbup:

Thanks for all the help from the Beckerheads with tips for acquiring one. Now my fingers are itching for a BK14 and a BK5....hmmmm what to do :confused:

My guess is just the dye lots with the fabric . That stuff is always changing. Try getting wall paper or tile to match a year later, not happening.

I'm looking for a cheap BK1, but that ain't happening. eBay has them from 280-350, and trades ask for Busse-kins and like priced knives.

I thought the BK10s were rare. I don't even know where to begin to find a BK1 or a BK4 :confused::confused:
 
There is a BK-1 for sale right now on the exchange. Asking price....$295

BK10s aren't too rare, but being discontinued, it's a matter of hunting them down...

same for BK1s aren't too rare, but the prices are up there, it's a cult thing, i guess.

BK4s? those abound as well. prices are all over the map, i know what i would pay, and it's not a lot (bargain hunter), and i have a FEW, so i can be patient. it's more about the hunt.

hunt well. anyone can drop large $$$, but getting a good bargain, and appreciating what you get? priceless.

Thanks RABII, I believe you also gave me a heads up on the trade deal as well. It's a little out of my price range, for now. Biggest draws of the Becker series was that they were honest to goodness working knives that didn't break the bank. Buying a $300 Becker would make me want to turn it into a safe queen, and I don't think Beckers would like being a safe queen.
 
Had I only known back then what some of the blades I had would be bringing these days....

Sold 2 BK-10s NIB for around $65 back in the day.....tears....
 
Lucky, I have wanted a BK10 for the last few years and not found any in a price range I can live with.
