Aside from Fiddleback Friday, here are the ways to get your dream Fiddleback:

1. Call the shop, we keep a backup of knives that we use to cover me if I get sick or need time off. We sell these to people over the phone or by e-mail. The phone # is 470-239-4263, or you can e-mail Phillip at phillip at fiddlebackforge dot com
2. Dealers - The dealers keep our business running! They buy thousands of Fiddlebacks a year. Please support them.
3. The Flea Market - I'm always astounded at how many knives are being traded in the Flea Market thread. Certainly there are always knives available there.

Fiddleback Fridays are fun, but nobody is forced to buy their knives during the ruckus. If thats not your gig, give us a call. We probably have 5 Bushfingers in stock and ready to cut right now!

470-239-4263 is the land line to the shop.

Alternative to the phone is to e-mail Phillip at fiddlebackforge dot com

David wants to clarify that the preview thread on Friday is not an invitation to call up and snag those knives. Those are going to be sold on FF. Once the pictures go onto Fotki, the thread is written and we won't sell those knives.

Very interesting Andy. I'm hoping PM would work as well as can be difficult calling with the time difference for overseas members like myself. Have sent a PM to Vance.

PM's are not trackable due to storage limits. Please use e-mail for those kind of correspondences. Phillip is our General Manager and you can e-mail him at Phillip at fiddlebackforge dot com

Folks are available to answer calls during normal business hours 8 am - 5 pm eastern standard time. Keep in mind that everyoine here runs tools and has a part in production. If we don't answer, we are at the grinders.

Great update Andy.
You have always done an outstanding job. Thank you so much.

Thank you for the information. I don't know if this is new or if it just wasn't readily stated as an option... but I hope it helps out both parties. I also like that FF knives are staying for sale on FF... I think it's a lot of fun personally.

edit: Phillip, good luck w/the incoming calls and emails!

I love that there are a lot of different ways to get a Fiddleback. I have purchased over 10 this year, and only 3 were on Fiddleback Friday. I love the feeding frenzy on Friday, but have been VERY happy with the knives that are available through dealers and the "Fiddleback Flea Market."

Andy and crew, keep up the great work!!

^This.

And please post your cell phone number, Phillip. ;) LOL

hahahaha

you should have seen the look on my face when i saw this thread this morning.
Andy was walking behind me and said ..." i guess you saw the new thread??"
i can only imagine what i looked like from the front

except that most of the time they 40-120 $ more expensive:

there is a nice arete on knifeshipfree which cost $430, when last 2-3 Fb Fridays the price around 320$. Unless it "MY EVER DREAM KNIFE!!!" I would rather wait until I find another "dream" configuration duering friday release of on flea market.

I need to say I still bought from dealers at least 3 knives

Hi Phillip,

Thanks for taking my call and forwarding me the complete inventory list along with photos and detailed specifications for each knife.

I'll take the following two from inventory:

3/32" CPM 154 SFT Padre with carbon fire over black with white pinstripes

3/32" A2 SFT scandi Handyman with black bolsters and Tangerine burlap

Wow, that was easy.

Thanks,

Phil

(Hey, it could happen i suppose. :p :roll eyes: :D )

I actually thought you were serious. I called the shop, asked Phillip about "the list," and was surprised when he said that it didn't exist! :(

Comprehensivist, you got me hook, line and sinker!

That being said, I was able to buy an awesome Bushcrafter. Thanks for your help, Phillip!

I got a TOTALLY SICK Desert Ironwood Bushfinger from inventory a couple of days ago...

Now I need a Desert Ironwood Hunter and Recluse to go with it. And if you have the time a Bushie will be fine to and a Kephart. Hint, hint..:)I have to settle for something after my Bog Oak Hunter was stolen....

This is the newest addition to my Fiddleback family. Thanks again, Phillip!
