I also think thats a good idea. I like the knife but I don't want to buy a folder that is smaller than a small Sebbie. Don't get me wrong the small Sebbie is my personal favorite knife but I think thats as small as I want to go. The small Sebbie IMO is the perfect size . I would try to get Mnandi if it were made in the size you have suggested.

Yes, a Wharncliff does seem like a sensible blade shape for a gents knife.

Yes a slightly larger mnandi would be a great knife! It's just a tad too small to open and hold well, and I have pretty small hands! I expect that the "official" reply will be that the design won't be "strong" enough, since the comparison between the small sebbie and the mnandi on the CRK web sight downplays the strength of the mnandi. As for the Wharncliffe, it's the best ugly blade in the world since it's much easier to sharpen, and nearly impossible to round off a point. I love it for using but I still think it's ugly as sin, IMHO.
