I want a neck knife

The CRKT minimalist may be too small for your taste. I'd say go with the ESEE izula or the Becker bk11 necker. Or bk14. Also the ka-bar Becker remora knife.

Love my BK 11. Esee also make some great neck knives. Busse and Co. also have the Scrapivore, which is pretty cool as well.

If I'm gonna spend around 50-60 dollars for a necker, is it worth it to drop it and buy a blur?

Depends what you are gonna use it for. Both types of knives have their places. Also consider how you are going to carry it. I have my concealed permit here in VA, but it is illegal for me to carry a neck knife concealed.

I would highly recommend Brous Blades Silent Soldier neckers. Comes in tanto, wharncliff, drop point, karambit, and reverse tanto blade shapes; they come coated, stonewashed, and special edition zombie-splatter finishes.

I like Jason's stuff, but 90 for a neck knife is up there.

Here are my neck knives. I admit I wear them in the pocket more often than around my neck, but nonetheless, these are my three favorite. All production knives too. Swamp Rat Swamp Warden (top), ESEE Izula (middle), and Spartan Blades Enyo (bottom). Okay so the Enyo by Spartan Blades is a bit overpriced but still very cool.

By the way, you might want to use the search function too because I'm sure you'll find...oh I don't know...maybe a few HUNDRED threads on "Neck knife recommendation".

Ka-Bar's Johnson Adventure Piggyback is a small neck knife that holds a great edge and is extremely tough. It has been on many hikes and FTXs with me and I have yet to be disappointed with it. I actually thought I lost mine about six months ago, and to my surprise and joy, I found it in one of my bags this morning. The other great thing about the Piggyback is that on some of Ka-Bar's bigger fixed blades (like the Combat Kukri), the nylon sheaths have a little pouch on the outside for the Piggyback.

Yup. I do the same. They are just a perfect size, not bulky or much weight to add. They are capable for small to medium tasks.

As a man who owns a SOG Snarl --- Save your pennies and just get the original (borus blades) version or find something else. The snarl is okay, but ridiculously thick. Its not so much a knife but an AUS8 claw/wedge. The original is much better suited to actual cutting.

....something light but gets the job done right

If you can stand a crummy nylon sheath
and live with a makeshift neck wear;
the Buck Knives Paklite 140 has quite a bit going for it.

The paracord wrap looks fantastic here.

Just bought an Izula myself today. Should be here Monday. I've always wanted a neck knife, finally bought one. I'll throw some pics up as soon as I get it.
