I want a new flashlight

I am currently using a G2 I picked up on the Exchange and I think it's a great little light. However, I previously had a Stinger that was my favorite. It met an untimely death. Apparently, getting crushed under a school bus is outside of the warranty. I have debated buying another one, but I wanted to see what kind of good options were in that general price range. I prefer a rechargeable because I run through batteries pretty quickly.

Here are my req's:

1. No bigger than Streamlight Stinger
2. I prefer a single-mode light. No need for strobes, etc.
3. I have always been partial to incan lights, but LED could be nice.
4. $120-ish is my limit.
5. Must be from a reputable company. Warranties and all, ya know.

Thoughts?

I have been carrying the stinger for years. I bet I own at least 7 or 8 but the Strion is my new all time favorite. I have one with and wihtout the strobe so you dont have to get the strobe model if you dont want it. The run time is sweet and not outrageoiulsy overpriced like some of their comp. I know peoploe that have one of the comp models that is supposed to charge super fast and they all hate em and went to strions. either way lots of options to choose

Malkoff MD2 with M60W or M30W and 18650 batteries. You could also put a malkoff drop-in in your G2 and run it on RCR123's but you would only get around 40 minutes of runtime (17670's and 18650's won't fit a G2).

I run a M60W in a SF C2 with a 17670 3.7v li-ion stick battery, I like this set-up best because of the extended runtimes over RCR123's and the ability to pop in some primaries if I run out of rechargable juice. With the M30 series you can only use a single battery because of voltage limitations.

If your looking for for something more along the lines of EDC a SF E1B or L1 are also around your budget.

Forgot...... the "W" in M60W stands for warm tint. Its a LED that looks like a incan.

If you want to turn your G2 into a rechargeable incan you can get a "HO-4" dropin by Lumens Factory and run it off 1X 17670 for 50minutes of 105lumen output.

I did a Malkoff drop-in (more flood) with my G2 a while ago and it went from a good to great light.

Last week I got involved here in a thread about lights and somebody suggested the new Fenix TK35 (4 - 123s, 109 bucks). I really was not looking to get a new light, but you know how it goes, if you are a gadget freak like me.

Anyway, got in yesterday in the mail, tried it last night and it is bright beyond belief.

You will not be disappointed.............http://www.fenixlight.com/viewnproduct.asp?id=86

I went out and picked up a Streamlight Strion LED today. Review to follow some day. It has a 2 output switch (full power and strobe.) Bright enough for what I need. I think the SF G2 will be put on backup detail for a while. I also picked up a Streamlight Stylus Pro. So far, I am impressed. I had the original Stylus and I think I may have lost it, but it began to wear out on me, so the replacement is welcome in my tons of gear.
