I already have a spyderco centofante 4, but I want another one, both to use and collect. the whole cutting part of the blade is straight, I don't want that on my next spyderco.

i don't want one of the cheapest spyderco knives, I want one with good steel quality. I like tactical folders, but also gentlemen knives that look good.

so do you have any tips for my next spyderco knife?

I have to vote the Gayle Bradley also. Just got one this week and love it. My favorite Spyderco so far.

how is the SpyderCo Terzuola? how is the CPM-S30V steel? does anybody know how well carbon fiber holds up over time?

it doesn't seem to have any real lock.

it doesn't lock, but the slip joint mechanism it has is very strong, and the choil helps.

my friend has it and i have handled it quite a bit. i like it a lot and will probably get one in the future

S30V is a great premium steel, and carbon fiber holds up very well. You can't go wrong with either.

I edc my Terzuola. It is really easy to sharpen this knife due to a rather straight edge. Somehow, the s30v is able to maintain it's shaving sharpness for a long time even after cutting cutboard and wood. Overall, the carbonfiber is excellent. i dropped my my knife on concrete floor, but just 2 minor chips on the handle, that's all. And, don't worry about the non locking mechanism. The ballbearing holds up very well and this knife is really safe

I would recommend Schempp's Navaja or Vallotton Sub-Hilt. Both of them as close as it can be to tactical & looks classy like gentleman's folder.

I've got a Delica 4 from the new color series. The full flat ground is seriously wicked. I can't get over the fact how sharp it came out of the box and how well it slices. Shapewise I think the Delica (and also the Caly models for that matter) is a nice compromise between the larger more tactical knives and the smaller models and gentlemen knives. My only complaint would be that for the overall size of the knife with the Delica you get a fairly short blade. That's okay with me. Makes it a bit less intimidating and more 'girly' to me. If you want a bit more blade the Endura 4 FFG might make up for that. If I had the funds right now I would probably spend it on an Endura4 GREEN ZDP-189 - fabulous FFG paired with high-performance steel and a cool color :D With even more money at hand I might consider getting myself a Calys Carbon Fiber :)

My favorite is the Manix 2. Para 2, Mili, Sage, Caly 3, Gayle Bradley are all popular as well. Hard to go wrong though; I'd look through the catalog and go for the one that catches your eye the most.
