I want a nice torx set....

I want a set of individual drivers sizes T6-T10 and I wanna spend less than $50.

I'm sick and tired of cheap junk drivers that can't even handle a little loctite.

What torx sets work for you guys? Any recommendations?

Can't tetify to their Torx set, but...

Invested in a Wiha adjustable torque driver to use on the variety of screws in my firearms.

Best tool investment I have ever made (after trying 2 other less expensive drivers).

Wiha and Wera are top brands. High quality hardened steel, built to spec, and won't strip.

I got all mine from KCTools online.

I decided to try out a Wiha set. It's a set of six torx and has T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, and T15. Everything I'll need for my knife collection.

Thanks guys for the suggestions.

Even though you said you decided, I'll just throw a few more out there for anyone else who has a similar question. The Benchmade Blue Box has T6, T8, and T10 bits for $20. And what I personally bring with me whenever I go to work, is my Leatherman with all the torx bits from the bit kit. The Leatherman Bit Kit can be had for around $25 and has almost every size of torx bit or hex wrench that is found on knives, even the T30 on my Socom Delta. As long as I have my Leatherman, I have my Torx set.

Those sounds great for portability I don't feel the need to have torx bits on my person, but for anyone that does I'd say that either one of these two are a great choice.

Another vote for Wiha -

Pictured is the set I purchased from Amazon - it is a very good set and I prefer the individual tools rather than the bits.

Has anyone tried the small Wiha bit set? Can't post pics, but here's the Amazon link:

http://www.amazon.com/Wiha-79242-Se...1426610854&sr=1-17&keywords=wiha+torx+drivers

Opinions, etc. welcome. Don't have a lot of room for 6-8 large handled drivers.
Thanks
Rich

I have that set! First time, using very little twisting pressure, the smallest torx bit sheared clean off the tip, about 1/64th, still usable - must have been a lemon. Called Wiha US Distributor and they said Torx bits have no warranty guarantee!

That experience did not deter me from using Wiha and not to take any chances, thinking it should be stronger, I bought another set designed for impact use.

I went and bought the Benchmade tool for $30. It comes with the Torx and other small screws. It comes compact enough and works on my knives.
