you said that you were really hard on your knives? if any knives can take it, it's probably REKAT rolling locks. you didn't really say how you use your knives. for a general use knife, you might consider the pioneer series. it's a decent bit cheaper, but the strenth is still there. not exactly coincidentaly

Mine is satin finished, not black. It has the old style rolling lock, and the blade is marked (etched) with the REKAT logo and 113/250. I paid $300 for mine, but it was pre-production. Keep in mind also that it has logged a number of miles on my hip in Bosnia, yet is still in very good condition. I've been asking $200 for it, or maybe something really interesting in trade. After all, how many of these are floating around out there?
