Hi, I am seriously looking into buying a Sebbie for myself. My only problem is I cannot figure out if I want to go with a new Sebenza 21, or one of the older models (buying off a previous owner). Does anyone have a picture of all the different models side by side, showing the blade size and shape, and handle? Or, does anyone have any insight on which one is their favorite and why?

I know I want a large, and possibly a unique graphic with Star Sapphire inlay.

Thank you!

Buying a 21 will get you more customisability (thumb stud customisation, graphics, etc) but if you're buying off a previous owner, you probably wouldn't be getting the customisations you want, since CRK doesn't make any more of their older versions.

The same with me - after long time of thinking I've decided to purchase Sebenza 21 with african blackwood inlays. She is on the way ;)

Seems your mind is made up.Pull that trigger and purchase it.The first sebbie is always a special one:D

I'd get a plain version. Inserts look weird. I also don't like paying MORE money for less titanium. I want all the titanium I can get.

I have both the 21 and the Classic. Not much difference imo. I would buy the one you can get for the best price:D

Get a regular if you can find it.

+1 Start with a used Plain Large Regular and get the feel of it.
You can't go wrong with it and resale value holds well.
Later as you learn more you can make a better decision on what's next.

Normally I'd say, "get them all too. However, there are a few too many variations of the Sebenzas, so I'll say, "get as many as you can afford." Maybe get one with every tax refund....

I think I am going to go with a Large Sebenza 21, with a star sapphire added. Just a plain handle. Thank you for some of your recommendations. I also want to get my hands on a Moonsong.

Thank you!
