CRK has never been interested in making a custom blade, so does anyone know of
a smith who could do this?

What benefit will that give you that is worth the price?
I vaguely remember a couple making blades for the Sebenza, but they said it was pretty much cost prohibitive.

I want what I want. If I can find a maker, then I may reblade a few Sebenzas with
steel that interests me.

One of the components of Chad Nichols Stainless Damascus is AEB-L so you could get a 31 in Damascus and see if that scratches the itch. Not sure if the switch from DT is new for the 31, it might be out there already.

Not sure if Josh at REK Sharpening is doing reblades much since he is working on getting his own knives out but he would be my first call to ask about it.

He does great work.
Thanks JJ. I'll check him out.

I'm just getting started at knife making, but it's one of my long term goals to make a couple reblades for sebenzas down the road.
