I want a smaller Ronin with a better steel

I like the Reverse, very clever design. The Ronin 2 makes me wish I had picked up a Ronin 1 when they were available. But now I want a Ronin 2 with the same handle, a slightly shorter blade more shaped like the Ronin 1 (more tapered), and in Cruwear or 4V or M4. Something tough to strengthen the narrow tip and something with better edge retention than BD1 or VG10. I just had to get that out there :)
Anybody else ?

I am with you. A smaller Ronin 2 would be great. I want one so much I made my own by shortening one.

Here is my thread about it if anyone is interested.

I would also love to see a smaller version of the RONIN 2 or even a Sprint Run of the original RONIN>> but most definitely in a supersteel. As much good luck as I've had with M390 I would love to have an original RONIN with M390 or 10V.

Or you could go another direction with the newer nitrogen based LC200N and add it to the Salt Series. I bet a lot of serious divers would love an original RONIN in either H-1 or LC200N. This is a great idea and I hope it grows legs.

I agree, a shorter Ronin would be better! I need a 3" or even better a 2.99" blade. Some counties will say "no more than 3" or "must be less than 3"
When the YO2 came out I joined the chorus of people that asked Sal for a Ronin update, but when I saw the length of the new one I didn't buy it.
If the do a smaller and hopefully with a better steel I would buy several and my EDC problem would be solved.

that's what I was dreaming about, something like a Jumpmaster in H1, SE at a reduced scale with that awesome thin, nimble handle and aggressive wharnie shape.

The JM is great but sometimes a bit too big for comfortable or discreet carry...
The best would result from hybrid between these two!
