Until the day I find a way to scratch this itch, can we chat about them here and give us CQC-11 fans a place to hang out, drool, and petition for its return?

Let's hear it... who's wanting, who's holding, and who's using?

Anybody faithfully EDC one?

Pics if you got em' please.

Please respect the board rules, no solicitation of sales in here, keep it PM.

Jmorton, that's perfect, thanks. I'm a PE kind of guy myself.

OM - I've found myself staring at your Kreined UTCOM on more than one occasion. Love it. I bet it's a light saber.

Thanks for starting this off right gentlemen.

There is one on Ebay, and admittedly I don't like Ebay, but they're asking $400. Pass. I said WANT, not NEED.

A Krein regrind IS a light-saber!
I'd love a Commander with a Krein regrind.

Officer's Match;13601831]Not exactly what you're looking for, but I carry this one a good bit. It's kinda' sharp.

What does a regrind like that cost.

Unfortunately, Mr. Krein no longer offers regrind service. His was exceptional, and yes, that Eleven is truly scary sharp. I pretty much don't let anybody else handle it.

I'm in the dark on the 11. I know it was called the blackhawk at one point? What's the UTCOM portion mean? And as for wanting it, of course I do! It's an Emerson and I haven't met an Emerson that I don't like.

I miss mine. Death to the scammer that got it. I did pick up a SOCFK-B stonewash though. Handle's about 1/4" shorter, but still got great ergonomics.

Great pics guys, thanks.

Both look amazing. I do love my 8, and I have my eye on a few other models, but I can't believe how much more I like this design over the rest. Then again, I do have an affinity towards drop point blades. It's such a bummer I came to the party late and missed its production window.

I'd take either black or satin at this point, and change my mind on which I prefer constantly.

Wow, I know the Commander is set back a little in BBW's second pic, but there seems to be quite a size size difference between the two. Is the 11 really that much bigger, or is it the pic?

Straitr I don't have them anymore unfortunately but as I recall the 11 is F ing HUGE. The commander's blade is 3.6'' I believe and the 11 is over 4''. I can't recall the handle difference.
The 11 had the best ergonomics I have ever handled in a knife. Stupid me :-(
I really hope it comes back one day

I agree, the CQC-11 ergonomics are by far my favorite (I have another one on the way with a black serrated blade from a trade I just made)

The 11 does have a little over 4" blade, as does the Super Commander. Here is my11 with my Super Commander and my UBR Commander:

Yeah, 4.1 inch blade on the 11, half inch longer than the Commander with same handle length, I guess the pic angle made it look like more than 1/2" bigger.

To me, other than the OBS which is unobtanium anyway, the 11 is my favorite design. From what I can tell, the 11 also has the longest blade / shortest handle of any folder EKI has made. Which I dig.

I've never really been a trader, and I don't sell much as I've always regretted getting rid of things I've sold, but I would take it in the backside on a trade to get my hands on an plane edge 11 in really GOOD shape.

Or Emerson could just start making them again and I would buy 2 PE versions of each finish.

PS: be careful with those backstabbings lol

Damn Johnn! the 11 is a big knife, the UBR leaves me speechless... a zombie torso would be no big task for that machete
