If Darrel and HTM ever get together for a run of Bali's. Any chance at all of this happening? I would love to see a Ti bali with no inserts.

With Darrel's reputation for awesome balis, I can't imagine HTM not having one in the line up at some point.

Al Bundy once said, "If you build it, they will come."

So, so true! Come on Darrel, when it comes to Bali's, "your that guy". I am so sick of reading about the BM 42 and so and so's bali. I am still waiting for my custom, but I have played with a DDR and I know who builds the best. Please Sir, do what you do!

That is called OTH (off the hook!!!!).
Call me!

Hey DDR, lemme know when your building my royal blue 4" Maxx. Remember... Manual, with l/r tip up leaving 1.5" of butt exposed when clipped in the pocket and a lanyard hole.

Ok I bought the Proto (received yesterday)and it is a phenomenal flipper. I flipped it last night for three hours and my fingers loved it. There is no blade play. No rough surfaces. Everything is finished smooth but grip is sure in action. Balance and weight are perfect. The blade fits so nicely into the handles. The mild recurve looks really good in person. The pivot DDR uses is smooth as silk and requires no build of momentum for twirls. This would make an excellent production Bali for DDR/HTM. I hope they go though with it. Oh, and the aesthetics as this Bali appears in person are 10/10. Think I will have a custom case made for this one and carry it. Thank you for Mr Ralph.

I'd like to see some milled channel handles from HTM as far as balis go... Never was much a fan of sandwich construction. One peice handles with PB washers please!

I'm referring to a true DDR custom but if the HTM line starts up with some 4"ers, I might need one of them too.

New prototype blade for the V8.
The blade will LOOK double edged but will have the top grind rounded so that the ricochet will work perfect.
On thing we noticed was that when flipping the blade accelerated from the touch point on the blade top and your hand being an a radius headed toward the tip of the blade.
SWEET!
