a folder with a Scandi grind. Something with the S.A.T. and an Arch-Lock. No little red colored safety switch though. Needs to have a 4" blade of AUS8 (or carbon), a Zytel handle like the Flash II, a stainless frame, SOG’s patent pending, reversible bayonet mounted clip. No TiNi or any other coating. Handle colors available in black, od green, coyote, safety orange, or glow in the dark. Price should be somewhere around $70 from SOG (that way it will be about $50 everywhere else. :D).

I know it won't happen, but I still want one.

Make this into another sticky... sort of like a feedback on current designs & wishlist for customers :p

*Tigershark with OU-31 steel (Any knife with OU-31 steel for that matter, or just reduce the price on the Kiku-SOG :D )
*Duratech 20CV on folders
*More G10/Carbon fibre less Zytel

Anything that will take a beating and is carbon steel (not stainless)!

I want SOG to answer the proposal that I sent them and sweated bullets to write :(, before I send it over to Benchmade.

I just want them to offer some micarta scales for the Team Leader. Dress it up a bit.

Vic,

That's what I was thinking. The shape, steel, sheath, price are all very nice and tempting... but the zytel handles are a major turn off.

Yes, scales for the Team Leader!

I like the zytel grip on the seal 2000 and on the seal team elite.

they are perfect when being in continuous contact with water.

switch the folders' handles in G-10 instead of the zytel.

regular philips screws instead of torx screws.(same goes for all manufacturors)

A modernized scuba/demo with zytel handle and kydex sheath.
please please please please

what about the Agency having a zytel handle .
the full tang in the same( strong )way ,the tang coming out of the handle as the Seal Team Elite has.no screws or bolts.the more simple the better.

that would be very nice too :-)

but the Seal team, the newer/improved version of the Seal 2000(ok ,also a matter of taste) is something to have also .
the zytel of the Seal Team is harder than the zytel of the Seal 2000.
weat conditions means nothing to this handle.

A modernized sog agency would be sweet to.
I think the beefier spear point blade of the scuba/demo is more sutable.

A modernize recon bowie is another one.

Sog needs to pick themselves up alittle, less serrations and a modernized original line would do that I think.

I agree with you on less serrations.
nowadays amost every knife seems to have half the knife-edge with those serrations.
I like the old classic look .
the Seal Team without any serrations at all would be nice.
just a plain smooth edge and back of the blade.

those serrations are like that triangular tanto point.it's almost like fashion.
the original japanese tanto-knives never had such a chisel-like point, only sometimes on the samurai sword.
not on their daggers.

I favour the Seal Team (elite) ,bowie type of blade very much.like a Ka-BAR or the Buck 119,no serrations, just a smooth razor sharp edge.as lethal as a dagger(maybe even more) but with better cutting ability than most daggers.
more useful, when you want to slice a piece of fruit or cutting/hacking a branch of a tree.

A seal team elite would be awesome with no serrations.
I have always wanted a seal team but never got one because of the serrations.

You are right, serrations have become a fashion statement used to lure in the less educated knife buyer.

maybe SOG will make one?
of the Seal Pup Elite there are different versions without serrations.
the polished and the black ones.
real nice blades.beauties .

although the Seal Team Elites(I have two) are very nice blades too.

still it would be nice to have a 'no-serrations version' also :-)

...a wide tanto in 5160 or some other carbon with a rectangular bolster, canvas micarta handle scales, a pointed impact pommel, a sawback, and a leather covered kydex sheath with a tek-lok belt snap for all 5 points of carry.

I would also like to see more use of G10 and Micarta on the folders. Not a fan of the Zytel.

If I could only change one, I would love a Vulcan and/or Mini-Vulcan with G10 scales and full liners. Please?

different dress-up for a same knife, the front guard a bit more round to protect the
hand. at the end of the handle a kind on pik if you where in ice emergency to have a grip to try to get out yourself from the water.

a folder assisted one with a framer wrench in place of the blade! ltd edition...
