Wal-mart has these for sale in the toy dept. I looked at one Sun. for my son's birthday.

It's hard to believe that star wars toys have been around for nearly 30 years. I had a bunch of them when i was a kid. This looks REALLY freakin cool. Much safer than the light sabre I had as very young kid. I'm old enough to remember when toys were toys. Hard, sharp, and dangerous as all get out. For my 4th birthday I got a spring loaded green light sabre that actually lit up when it popped out of the top of the hilt. It was a little goofy being that the grip on it was about 10" long and blade was around 9, but still it was a freakin light sabre that popped out of the top! The only problem with it was that the "blade" was made out of hard clear glass-like plastic. One missed swing and you Jedi sabre became a bar room brawler's broken beer bottle. I wonder what it would be worth if i still had it today.
