I notice on the app that I may need a sponsor. I have only been a collector for the past year, but a Buck user of longer than many of you have been around. Do I need a sponsor and if so, how do I coerce someone to sponsor me.

Hello,
You don't need a sponsor unless you are a youth. The sponsor line on that application is also used for our membership drive contest. The member who sponsors the most new members wins a custom made knife.
I'd tell you to write my name on that line but unfortunately, I am not allowed in that contest.
