but i want to find one with some custom scales preferable arctic camo... I've seen these for sale on the other esee lines from a particular site i cannot remember the name of now but don't know if anyone makes them for the izula and what site to find them from...


any sites out there sell the izula complete like this?
also on the ama...zon... shopping sites the ones listed as survival packs come with scales right? anyone know anything about those?

i ask because i want to order one today as i just got notification that my skystorm sheath has shipped for my esee-6 and want to have my izula here shortly after the sheath!
 
I have seen some Knifeworks.com exclusives while shopping there. Hey, how are you liking the 6? I think its gonna be my next Esee.
 
My Izula kit did not come with scales, just a clip plate, fire starter, a bit of para cord and some other odds and ends.

The Izula survival kits that come with scales are probably the flat micarta slabs.

yeah that's the site i was thinking of, thanks for the help, guess im just order the scales from there and the blade separate...time to get out the wallet



i've been loving the esee-6 and think it's going to truly be part of my trifecta , it is a do it all blade with only things at the far ends of the spectrum in fine work and heavy chopping does it suffer, but i think coupled with an izula and a machete or axe it is perfect in almost every way ... i'll be looking forward to the SS versions to complete my pnw bushwack kit, it's always wet here..:mad:
 
I have gotten all my ESEEs from the knife connection (izula, 5, & Junglas, so far). They consistently have the best price (with free shipping if over ~$45, and their service is great. No need to go by funky descriptions from Amazon, if you have a question you can just call them. I wanted the Izula kit with the metal clip rather than the molle attachment. I called and confirmed with them that is what I would get. Super easy
 
I have the scales from them for my Izula. Excellent scales. They fit just right and fill the handle nicely for a small knife.
