Im slowly coming up on my 1000th post and would like to give back. Would like to post a free blade up sometime soon,but where would I post this? Thanks! Ross
 
Anywhere you want to. General will get the most responses, but you'll also get people with 10 posts trying to win.

My advice would be to pick the forum where you tend to hang out the most and do it there.
 
It's your giveaway; you can do whatever you want. Well, within some limits. But that's cool.
 
When you are giving something away, you get to set the terms.

While it is always great to reward the paying members, sometimes it is good to also include registered users who have been around for a year or more. Not everyone can afford to buy a membership, but are still enthusiastic members who contribute to the BF community.

That's the advice I would have given. We do a lot of giveaways on the DDR/HTM forums. While I would like for more people to enter, it's more fitting for us to post giveaways in that specific forum. However, anyone can enter provided they meet a few basic restrictions, namely that they have been a member for at least 3 months.

Great that you're giving back to the community.

Thanks for all your input! Ill be putting it up the closer I get closer to 1000. I really think its going to be a good one!
