as the title states i would like to make a small run of t-shirts @10 for myself and a few coworkers. is there a good place to have this done online? i have looked around cafepress.com but i have no experience with them and am unsure if they use quality materials and such. i plan to have a small image on the front of the shirt and 5 words on the back. any recommendations would be very helpful.

p.s. i am looking to spend no more than 20$ per shirt.

Some ebay shops do that kind of stuff. What is it going to say? What if BF members want in on the action? :D

Most larger towns and cities should have a silkscreener or several. Give them a template and they'll put it on a shirt for you.

I've used http://www.zazzle.com - like cafepress.com but a better UI for designing the shirts. They run about $16 and ship via USPS. Takes about 3 days to get a shirt. Might be quicker, easier and cheaper than a small run with a silkscreener if you already have the graphics...

Hi All-

Why get involved with ordering via the Internet when traditional brick n' mortar stores would be superior for this kind of project since you could work "live" with the vendor? You could visit a sporting goods store to obtain high-quality cotton shirts like Champion or Beefy-Tee's in plain colors and simply take them to be screenprinted, silkscreened, or heat transferred as needed.

I use a local shop and have been with them for years. I get all my work shirts done there and soon an Atwood Knife shirt(s)will be coming out. I get the pigment dyed shirts because there's a ton of cool colors to choose from and they cost me $10-12 a piece, 12 shirt minimum. There's a one time set up fee but then they have your screens and you're good to go if you want to do more.

I've used t-shirt making (iron on) printer paper before. I thought it would wear off within a week but that was 2 years ago and the shirts still look fine, the logos faded a bit over time, but honestly look better now.

thanks for all the suggestions, i've asked around at the local t-shirt shop here and it looks like i'll just go with the iron-on idea since it will be fairly cheap and should translate very well.

i'll be sure to post a picture of it when i'm done.
