I just got this in the mail and I love it. So friggin' sharp, I already injured myself while playing with the wave feature. i didn't even realize I'd been cut until I saw some blood dripping on the floor! This knife is awesome, everyone should grab one while they can!

Hey Mon---
Make love to yer knife?
Does your wife know. :p
Great knife.

I'm on the wait for one just like you posted pics of.

... yes, I know I ended a sentence in a preposition.

I have a 12 identical to yours. I don't know what it is about the EKI framelock but it seems and this is with the HD7's I have had too, that when I grip the knife I am always pushing the locking frame in. You know I can feel move in my hand towards the locking side. This doesn't happen on the Thunder Hawke I have nor did happen with my CRK. I for the life of me can't figure it out. Maybe that is why I carry my SOCOM or 7 most of the time. keepem sharp

PS I think between the HD and the 12 the 12 is a better knife, just me though, you experience may differ.

I understand what you mean - I keep mine at the farm and actually miss it while I'm in the city. I've always liked Knives but the day mine arrived I fell in love with it. But more in the way you love a pet dog. No plans on making love to it but would probably talk to it and stroke it if I was stranded alone somewhere with it. It's simple perfection. No need for any springs, safety mechanisms etc. It doesn't even need the wave as it opens so easily. Think I will have the wave ground down on mine. I just got back from a Knife shop in Bangkok where the guy was trying to sell me a 'Cold Steel Hatamoto' at a ridiculous 500 GBP. He was blasting on about how good it was but as soon as I held it it felt like a cheap copy knife compared with my 12.
I'm gonna buy another one if I can find one, just in case my one ever goes missing.

Yeah the 12 opens ridiculously fast too. I can just lightly flick my wrist and it whacks open. This is my favorite framelock of all time, much smoother and faster than the Sebenza or SNG
