a Busse chop a cold steal in half.......... mwahahahahaha! has anyone done it? have pics?
 
I believe Dave Brown did it with his AK (or possibly a Ruck). I'll see if I can find the link.
 
well, I never chopped one in half exactly but I did take this picture shortly afer I got my first Busse; its the sfno you see there.

Wow thats really uncanny , a bloke in Oz has that exact knife and his snapped in exactly the same spot !
 
that doesn't really surprise me. Its a definite weakness in the design and the steel doesn't have anywhere near enough lateral strength for a chopper. It did do me well when I needed it (for a few months at least) but quickly taught me that I need a better knife!
