I want to tweek a knife, should I?

I have a Boker USA knife that is kind of thick on the main blade. I have note carried it because of that. It is marked "Modern Energy" on the main blade. The scales are derlin and it has two sheilds. One says " Hybrid Electricity" with some kind of pic in the back ground. The other sheild beside the first is a 5 digit number. It is a slipt back wittler. To me it looks like a stokman, but the back springs do merge from two - one.

I want to thin the main blade, and replace the derlin with some sort of wood.

Should I fool around with this knife, or leave it as it is?

If it's not a collecter, and you want to change it, go for it. It's your knife, make it the way you want to.
