I wanted to put o rings in the grooves of my hinderer pen.....

Hello all!

I want to put o rings into the grooves of my new pen to make it more comfortable to use. Does anyone know what size goes into the grooves of the extreme duty model?


Update!!!! I found them in a local hardware store. You need size 6 rings designed for plumbing.

Find someone with a dial calipers to measure it. A good hardware store probably has one on-hand.

^^ good idea, but I can't find a hardware store around here that has ones that fit. The rings they have are too narrow. I need to order them but I was hoping that someone knew what size.

This is something I've been wanting to do as well. I think tattoo/piercing shops would be the place to find multicolored and sized o rings.

Around here ACE hardware stores carry many sizes of O rings, that's where I get mine.

There is a fellow on eBay that sells ring kits for the Investigator model. I'm working with him to get a kit for the Extreme Duty model. Stay tuned...

the size o rings you need are 6 for extreme duty and 36 for investigator they are found in the plumbing section of home depot

I know it’s an old thread but I found it while looking for o-ring information for my new pen. I tried the #6 rings but they were a little too bulky for my taste. The #5s were just right for me. I figured someone could use this information.
