Been a member since 2005. I've got alot great advise on this site and it's probably cost me a couple of extra dollars reading some of the other members knife reviews. That being said, I try to keep my mouth shut on this fourm unless it's to help out another member. To celebrate my hundreth post, I got off my cheap butt and purchased a Gold Membership. ;) I issue a challange to you other cheap Bastid's out there and pony up a few bucks for this outstanding site... Thanks for the education guys... Randy

A few bucks is not a bad deal considering all the knowledge on this forum. Congrats on the 100th post.

I'd love too, really.

However, an International Gold Membership is 5USD more expensive than an American Gold Membership (given the lack of consideration internationals get, incl lack of trade and sale options, its kinda moot. (strike 1)

I cannot use the automated membership upgrade service if I'm an International (strike 2)

Aaaaand Strike 3 is this, when I follow the bouncing ball to purchasing an International Gold Membership
Payment -- Credit Card
(Remember, we do not accept credit cards for International Orders

This is only for knife sales from 1SKS, Bladeforums memberships are the exception. And the extra $5 is because this method requires manual activation and takes time.

Great move! I did it a couple of months ago. I gained alot of knowledge from this site, and a few friends as well.

Good for you.

$25.00 is a small price, when I think of the hundreds I've lost from making poor (knife)buying/selling decisions. The info on this site is worth it's weight in gold IMHO;).

I finally decided to buck up and pay my way too about 5 months ago. Glad I did.

Congrats on 1K. Skip one coffee, pop, pack of cigs, etc per month and you've paid for a month here easily. Even my recently, unemployed butt can afford a gold membership.

A paid membership is the best money I have ever spent. For me, the knowledge and camaraderie is well worth the 14¢ per day.

Congrats on 100!

I used to subscribe to 4 or 5 knife publications and now I'm done to 2. I recently upgraded to Gold and it is well worth it to me to support the forum. I obtain great pleasure from it and probably log in a couple of times a day.

Randy, I'm sure Spark is thankful for your support. It is only with the support of members like you that this forum is able to keep up with all the equipment and software that a forum this large needs to operate efficiently.

I have always had a hard time understanding why there are so many people that regularly use this forum that don't think it is worth at least $10.00 for a Basic Membership.
