This was about the biggest Busse I could afford!
The handle was just that touch too compact for my large hands, so a plan had to be made.
I call it a GAS (Gent's Assault Shaker).
The stag is about 200 years old.

Don't go trying to get that Shaker away from Oupa / Dirk. If he decides he doesn't want it anymore I should at least have first dibs on getting it back. ;)

I aint no hog! there is only 2 people that have seen photos of what I have....one lives in Australia and is within 'belting' range (if he tells), the other lives in the states and a person I can trust with my life...although a couple were sold, my wife still thinks I have too much....:grumpy: I do not think 2 is much...) :confused:

You can NEVER, have too much INFI...so Dirk, send that puppie to me already!
 
I can't claim this baby as my own. The pics of a modified AS that my friend Dirk Potgieter (a.k.a. Oupa) made. He calls is the GAS. Here's a copy of his email:

Dirk makes great blades and does some awesome mods on productions blades. He's a great guy to deal with and is from the same geographical stock as Gundy!

He emailed me around a week ago to recommend a smaller-sized fixed blade. I, of course, raved about the Active Duty. I also blathered on about some other Busse's, Swamp Rats, and various other possibilities. Then today these pictures showed up!

yes, we will have to watch Dirk...he has been after my INFI stash for quite some time!
